It was great. Like I always say, where else could you "work" for three hours and make that kind of money, although we didn't make much in those days. Playing ball was a dream and all I wanted to do. - Yogi I noticed a lot of young players chew gum in their neighborhood pick up games and in the youth leagues. Isn't that a bad idea?Submitted By: AdamI'm no expert on this, but I knew a lot of guys who chewed when they played. Maybe it kept them from a dry mouth. Maybe it helped them concentrate.
