Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center

Yogi Berra's values, extraordinary accomplishments and lifelong commitment to the education of young people are the inspiration and foundation of the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center. Since officially opening its doors on Dec. 4, 1998, with students and teachers from the Bradford Academy in Montclair being the first public visitors, the YBMLC has become a hugely popular destination for sports fans and educators alike.

It is the New York metropolitan area's premier sports education center. The YBMLC is an engaging walk through the life and career of one of the most beloved and enduring sports figures of all time - as well as the most quoted American. From growing up in the Great Depression to his service during World War II to his legendary career as catcher of the Yankees' dynasty from the late 1940s to early '60s, Yogi's values and character have made him the great American success story.

The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center - which empowers students through character-based programs - is a poignant reminder to young people that they, too, can be anything they want to be.

6/3 - A Night of Playing It Safe

Program focusing on concussions and tips to help young athletes perform in a safe environment, presented by Matthew J. Morahan III Health Assessment Center, JAG Physical Therapy and the Yogi Berra Museum. Speakers include David Diehl, offensive tackle of the New York Giants, John Gallucci, Jr., president/founder of JAG Physical Therapy and Diana Toto, exercise physiologist. 6/11 - Dwight Gooden Booksigning

6/26-28 and 7/1-2 - Museum Softball Camp
	For girls ages 8-12, the camp's focus is fun and fundamentals. Under the direction of award-winning instructor Leslie Korkgy-Valenti, all activities take place in the beautiful Montclair State softball stadium. Camp runs from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. each day. 7/15 - Ira Berkow Discussion/Signing of Summers at Shea
