In addition to offering afterschool baseball camps and clinics, the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center has been providing a weeklong baseball/softball camp in August since 2000 for children ages 8-12.

Highlights of the YBMLC’s baseball/softball camp, which is held 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day, include:

  • Five days of activities at the beautiful Montclair State University softball park and inside the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center
  • All activities and training supervised by Paul Reddick, accomplished coach, youth sports expert and professional baseball scout
  • Each child learns baseball and softball the way Yogi Berra did, combining fun activities and games with focus on fundamentals
  • Instruction by collegiate players and guest appearances by major league players
  • Special workshops on sportsmanship and sports history
  • Lunch, snacks and refreshments are provided.
For additional information, please call the Museum at 973-655-2378.
