- Learning Sporstmanship
Students participate in interactive examination of what's good and what's bad about sports, with emphasis on tolerance and conflict resolution skills
- Baseball and Social Justice
As baseball reflects our national attitudes towards race and gender, this program examines how baseball came to be played by all people. Topics include history of the Negro Leagues, the struggles of Jackie Robinson and Lary Doby in breaking the color barrier, and the breakthrough experiences of Latinos, Asians and women.
- Ethics in Sports Journalism
Middle and high school students examine topical sports issues and the role and responsibility of the media. Program features guests including professional broadcasters and journalists.
- Baseball and the Presidents
From the Civil War, when soldiers played baseball behind the White House under the watch of Abraham Lincoln, to today's ceremonial first pitch, American presidents have a unique connection to the national pastime. This program examines that relationship.
- Women's Sports and Gender Equity
Athletes and professionals in sports-related fields examine the history and the current status of amateur and professional women's sports, including discrepancies in mainstream media coverage.
- Career in Sports
Sports professionals provide their insights and experiences and discuss opportunities for students interested in pursuing on-and-off the field sports careers.

- Baseball Discovery Activities: Physics/Math/Medicine
Hands-on workshops for students (Grades 4-6) exploring baseball's connection to physics and math, plus a program introducing sports medicine by Montclair State University's (MSU) athletic training department. Dates: Fridays, April 9, 16, 23 and 30
- Peer Leadership
Peer counselor Matt Bellace offers a unique high school program designed to encourage students to make healthy choices, while emphasizing leadership skills in their daily lives. Bellace has conducted leadership workshops around the country and is a Ph.D. candidate in clinical neuropsychology at Hahnemann University. Dates: Wednesday, March 17, Thursday, April 28 and Friday, May 14.

What The World's Greatest Athletes Can Teach Students About How They Can Do Better In School…And In Sports! Lively motivational workshop on confidence-building and personal discipline conducted by Dr. Rob Gilbert, one of the nation's leading sports psychologists and a faculty member at Montclair State University.

Professionals from the Star-Ledger enhance our programs with a lively dissection of the daily newspaper including hands-on educational activities related to sports and other topics.
- Meeting the Press
Professional journalists discuss the inner workings of the media business, while examining historical and contemporary sports issues.
- Live Radio Broadcasts
The Museum occasionally hosts live WFAN broadcasts with sports figures and experts, including shows targeted to youth sports and parenting issues.
